Derek came home early from work yesterday so we could go to the Hee Haw Farms Spring Fling. We went last fall and Ethan loved it. They have lots of fun activities for the kiddos and a nice petting zoo with lots of baby bunnies, goats and chicks. Ethan had a blast! He was very excited to see the bunnies, but his favorite part... the hay jump. This is a trampoline type thing that is covered in hay. This makes my previous post pretty ironic. Here is a video and some pictures of our fun family outing. This one is for cousin, Hank because I think Ethan looks like a little train conductor...
Ethan gives this place 2 thumbs up!

Jump On It
I took Ethan to this trampoline place this morning called Jump On It. Anyone who knows my child knows that he loves to jump off of things, so I thought he would have a blast. Here is a picture of how much fun he had...
... none at all! I couldn't believe it. He cried the whole time, and I was even holding him jumping with him. He kept saying, "shoes, car, home" so I got the hint and we left. I know I'm horrible for taking a picture of him while he was so upset, but I was so surprised at his reaction, I needed evidence for the blog. I don't think this will make it to the scrapbook though. Anyway, it is a really cool place and I think we might try it again in a few months... or years. I'm just glad we only wasted $3.

2 Year Stats
Ethan had his 2 year doctors appointment today. Here are his stats...
Weight: 29.2 lbs. 50th percentile
Height: I forgot how many inches, but it was in the 80th percentile
Head Circumference: 92nd percentile... my brainy child!
The doctor was very impressed with his verbal skills and activity level! He says so many words and learns new words everyday. He has even started saying little sentences like, "I like it," "Get out," "Have fun" and "I got". Other than that, his hernia is almost healed (but he said this at his last appointment 6 months ago, I guess they just take a lot of time to close up.)
Today we also had a momentus occasion. Ethan pooped in the toliet for the first time. We're not trying to potty train yet, but I went to change his diaper today, thinking he had pooped, but it was just gas, so I asked him if he needed to go. He said yes and went to the potty and he went! He was so proud as he said bye-bye to his poop being flushed! YAY! Who knows if this will continue or not. Okay, enough blogging about poo. Sorry.
